FOOD FOR TEENS: COLD WATER
Welcome to the beautiful month of December, greetings in the name of Jesus. I want to talk to you on something it I titled Cold Water. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 25:25, "As cold water is to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country." According to the above scripture, the writer is trying to describe good news as Cold water, and we know that good news refers to the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and far country refers to heaven. So we can render that scripture as follows: “Just as cold water is to a thirsty soul, so is the gospel of Jesus from heaven to man.” To further explain this, let us look at Lazarus and the rich man, Luke 16:22-28, “So it was that the beggar died and was carried by the angel to Abraham’s bosom, the rich man also died and was buried and being in torment in hades he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
