IT'S NOT WORTH IT: SELF CONDEMNATION Part Two

Dearly beloved, I welcome you to the month of August in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. May the glory of God be revealed in you more this month. Here is a continuation of last month’s edition How do we know if our guilt is coming from godly conviction for a wrong we have done or if our guilt is produced by the devil? When the devil accuses us, repentance never satisfies. We still feel as bad as before. The devil is the thief, he wants to steal your joy, your peace and destroy that walk you have with the Father because his mission according to John 10:10, “The thief cometh not but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” You see, if he can’t get us to sin, he will try to make us feel as though we have sinned. Not only does the devil condemn us, we can blame ourselves. Listen to Job’s words, “If I justify myself mine own mouth shall condemn me: If I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.” (Job 9:20).
