IT'S NOT WORTH IT. DON'T GIVE PLACE TO THE DEVIL
Dearly beloved, I welcome you in the name of the Lord Jesus into the first quarter of this year 2020. May the Lord keep you and guide you in all your affairs this month in the name of Jesus. This month I will be sharing with you on what I titled ‘Don’t Give Place to the Devil.’ 1st Peter 5:8 says, “Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour.” To be vigilant means to be in high alert. Brethren, the reason for this is because you have and adversary who is bent on destroying you. He won’t think twice to eliminate you if he has the chance to. The Bible says in John 10:10, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…” Hence the scripture admonishes us in Ephesians 4:27 saying, “Neither give place to the devil.” The devil has the ability to destroy only if you give him a place.
