Matthew 13:31-32 says, “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.” Before we delve into our topic proper I would like to first and foremost establish a baseline for these parables and several other statements in the Bible so that we can get proper insight to what they truly represent.  One of the figure of speech in English Language is simile; it is the comparison between two unlike things using "like" or "as", "She was acting LIKE a pig." Dearly beloved, I welcome you in the name of the Lord into the last quarter of this year 2020. May this last quarter be to you that which the Lord Himself has structured for you in Jesus name. This month I will be talking to you on what I titled “THE LOVE OF MONEY.”  The bible says in 1st Timothy 6:10, “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” In the above scripture, Paul identifies the love of money as a factor that leads many Christians to go astray from the faith. However, the Bible did not say money is evil; rather, it is the love of it that is evil.  The Love of money is a sin just like lust and is common to all men, Christians and non-Christians alike. While lust is a strong sexual desire for the opposite sex, the love of money is sort of strong desire people have for money.
