THE SECRET OF KINGDOM PROSPERITY parttwo

Continue from last month’s edition.... 

The bible says through knowledge shall the just be delivered, which means a man can only be delivered through knowledge. In the book of Hosea 4:6 the Bible says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee; that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” He says any Christian that rejects knowledge will be rejected also. The relationship that you have with God is ignited and put in place by the knowledge that you have of Him. If you have no knowledge you have no relationship with Him, for the bible says, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”- Amos 3:3. The place of agreement is in the place of knowledge because if you don’t know God through knowledge then you don’t have Him in you because you cannot relate. Without the knowledge of God in you, you have no understanding of Him. So many people know athletes but they don’t know God. Many Christians are destroyed not because they don’t have food at home, not because they don’t have parents but because they lack the knowledge of God and have been rejected (Hosea 4:6). The knowledge of God is something you must seek after with everything that is in you. Jesus said in the book of Matthew 16:18, “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” The gate of hell cannot prevail against a church that is full of knowledge. Every knowledge is militated against by spiritual forces that, is why you must be full of knowledge that you may be able to combat the forces of hell against your life. The devil only listens to the word of God and the Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is the word of God, John 1:1-3, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” Jesus is the living word and the personification of God’s word. The Bible says in John 1:14, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” If Jesus Christ the living word quoted the written word when He was tempted of the devil, that tells you that the written word is so important and you cannot succeed without it. 

In the book of Proverbs 24:3-5 the bible says, “Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.” It takes knowledge to have a good home, it takes knowledge to have a good marriage, it takes knowledge to reign in life. In the book of Isaiah 5:13, “Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.” Every problem that you see in the life of a Christian is as a result of lack of knowledge, there is always something to do to bring you out of that situation. There is a way out of that problem and what is the way? that way is knowledge. If you’ve got the knowledge, you’ve got the keys and if you have the keys, the door will be opened. There is no problem above the knowledge of God, if you have the knowledge, you have the solution. 2nd Peter 1:3-4 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” If you have knowledge, you have all things; Every kingdom keys is hidden in knowledge. The key to God’s divine nature is the knowledge of His promises, when you have the knowledge of His promises and you put it to work, the door of glory is opened unto you. 

Now, the Bible says in the book of Proverbs 25:2, “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.” God hid all the knowledge in the Bible, it is your honour as a king to search it out; how to be well, how to be financially relevant, how you can marry a good husband or wife and have a good home. It is all written there but if you don’t search it, you will never find it. Any Christians that lacks the knowledge of God’s word is unwise and he is setting himself up as a prey to the devil. The knowledge of God’s word is your weapon for success. If the word of God gets into you, your life will never be the same. Any aspect of the word of God that gets into your spirit makes you a living god in a fleshly jacket; the word becomes flesh in you. When you go to the book of 1st Timothy 4:15, it says, “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.” The written word can’t get from the pages into your heart until you meditate it. Once the word gets into your spirit, you become a living proof of signs and wonders and the miraculous in the area that gets into you. The secret of prosperity is the word gaining entrance into your heart – Joshua 1:8, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Good success comes by meditating the word. 

In the book of Matthew 6:30-33, the bible says, “Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” This is the secret to kingdom prosperity but many believers miss it because they do not know what the kingdom is. People think that the kingdom is soul winning but that is the overflow of the working of the kingdom. If you have the kingdom of God in you, you will win souls, you will love and do all that needs to be done as a Christian but that is not the kingdom; they are the overflow of the kingdom. The Bible says in John 15:7, “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” ‘If you abide in me is talking about being born again which is the first step to your success, the next step is to put the word of God in you. This is the secret of the kingdom. Mark 3:14 says, “And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach.” The first thing is to stay with the word; Jesus is the living word of God. You’ve got to eat the word before you can preach it. This is the reason He told us in the book of Luke 10:38-42 that the kingdom is not the anxiety over all that the gentiles seek after but your willingness to stay and put the word of God which is Jesus Christ in you. If the kingdom enters into you, it takes your hand and begins to lead you in every aspect of your life. Mark 4:26-27, “And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground. And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.” The Bible makes us understand in the book of Luke 8:11 that the seed is the word and the ground is your heart. Once the word gets into you through meditation it starts to grow without you being conscious of it. This is the reason the devil trys to stop you from studying the Bible and meditating it. He knows that if you can catch it the kingdom will get into you. He could stop your prayer but he cannot stop the operation of the kingdom because prayers are answered through the operation of the kingdom(the word) in your heart. When you put the word in you the next step is to act on what the word says- Joshua 1:8. If you meditate the word it will lead you to do it, it will start driving you to act on it. Stop hurrying for success, any success that you hurry to get will destroy you, this is how it works, “For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.”- Mark 4:28-29. When your harvest comes, no man can stop.
