IT'S NOT WORTH IT: BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR MOUTH PART ONE

Hello beloved,  I hope you are increasing in the knowledge of God and of our Lord Jesus Christ? I will like to share with you on what I titled " Be careful with your mouth."

It's so disheartening to hear many people speak, even believers. They speak carelessly, without thinking of their words. They allow their situations through their five senses determine what comes out from their mouth. Forgetting something, that the building blocks of their lives are words from their mouth. They have not come to terms with the immense consequences of the words that proceed from their mouth.

The book of Proverbs 6:2 says, “Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth." So many people have been caught, captured, and occupied by Satan because they have not learnt how to make good use of their mouth. They have opened the door of their lives, marriages, children, businesses, jobs etc. to the devil to have fill day. Are you not aware there are two personalities waiting on your words to make use of it? As God is waiting on your words to make a make a beauty out of your life as you speak words that are consistent with His word, so also the devil and his cohorts are also waiting on your words which are not consistent with God's word to bring it to pass.

Words are containers, they are filled with something, and it all depends on what is coming out from your mouth. The Bible says, "Thou art snared.... “The word snared means to be entangled, to be caught or trapped with the words of your mouth. Words are powerful and words wrongly used can be hurtful. Proverbs 18:21 says, " Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." The Bible is simply telling us that there is power in our tongue; there is power in your mouth, what you say is what you get. If you speak life, you get life. If you speak death, you get death too. Here comes my question, why then do you speak carelessly? A wholesome tongue the Bible says is a tree of life... (Proverbs 15:4). Stop speaking carelessly, you can either create or destroy your world with your words. Stop saying my business is down and dead, stop staying your child has a block head, stop saying everywhere is dry, stop speaking sickness, death, poverty and lack, instead speak life. Your mouth can make your marriage sweet again, it can make your business alive again, It can make your health and finances better, if only you make up your mind to stop speaking the problems and speak nothing else but what God says. The bible says, “When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, there is a lifting up; and he shall save the humble person." Job 22:29. No matter what you facing right now beloved, remember God was faced with the same situation and He came out victorious, hallelujah! How did he do it? Instead of speaking negativity, He spoke positivity, instead of speaking death, He spoke life, instead of speaking darkness, and He spoke light. Genesis 1:1-3, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light." Glory to God!

Jesus said in John 6:63,"...the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and life." Beloved, you must come to understand first and foremost that your words are spirits, anytime you release words whether words influenced by fear or faith know that you are releasing spirits, but you must ask yourself if they are life or death. Any word that is contrary to God’s word for your life is the word of death.
