OPERATING THE KINGDOM MANDATE

Dear saints, if you are having financial challenge, it is because you’ve been listening to the government and the social media. God never work by the economy of your nation because you are not from there. You are supposed to belong to your Father’s nationality and not Nigeria. Have you forgotten what your Father said to you in 1st John 4:4? “Ye are of God, little children and have overcome them…” Did he say you are of your earthly parents? The answer is a big NO! You are born again, you are a new creation, old things are passed away, behold all things are become new -2nd Corinthians 5:17. Your nationality has change, “Now therefore you are no more stranger and foreigner, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God.” – Ephesians 2:19. You belong to heaven; you are from above and not from beneath – John 8:23. 

Just like Nigeria has her constitution, so do other nations. The constitution of a nation is to change the citizen’s mindset, so as to relate according to the laws of that land. You are a good citizen and deserve the praise of that government if you keep their constitution – Romans 13:3. But you are termed a malefactor if you disobey the law or the constitution of the land. When you migrate from Nigeria to the United States of America for example, you let go of the constitution of Nigeria and uphold that of the United States. The reason is because what obtains in Nigeria may not be in the U.S. In quote, ‘old things are passed away and all things are become new.’ You re now in America, you act and live by their constitution. Similarly beloved, you have been delivered from the power of darkness, and translated or transported into the kingdom of God’s dear Son – Colossians 1:13. You don’t belong to the world any more, the devil is no more your master and ruler but God. You have no right to look down any more for help but up – Psalms 121:1-2, Philippians 4:19. 

Beloved, in this new kingdom wherein you belong, we trade with only one currency, that is the currency of faith – Faith in God. If you try to use any other currency, the gate of heaven will be shut against you. Hebrews 10:38, “Now the just (i.e. the righteous, the Christians) shall live by faith…” This new kingdom you belong to only answer to faith. Hence Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please God: for he that commeth to God must believe…” How does faith work? It works by using the right keys. If you use the wrong keys, you cannot gain access into you inheritance. Jesus promised in Matthew 16:19 to give us the keys of the kingdom and He has done just that. The keys of the kingdom are the only guaranteed access into your inheritance. What are these keys? They are the Word of God. Romans 10:17 says, “Faith commeth by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” This means without the word of God there is no faith. What then is faith? Faith is believing and acting on the Word of God irrespective of what you feel. It is hearing the Word and doing what it says because you believe it. 

By studying, hearing and exercising what the constitution of your new nation in Christ says, your mindset will change and the kingdom of God will begin to yield its fruits. You don’t give up or give in – you just keep at it until it becomes part of your life. In this new kingdom we think, talk and act differently. Our actions must be based on our constitution – the Bible. That is what is called faith. Now you must call yourself what God calls you. See yourself as He sees you and do all things He says you can do. No need to doubt Him because your Father doesn’t lie. He knows what He put in you. So, you must believe and trust Him as you journey with Him.
