A PIECE OF ADVICE part two

Why is the devil after your separation? Genesis 1:27-28 says, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” The fist reasons why the devil hates man is that God created man in His own image, no angel looks like God, no animal looks like God, no creation looks like God; the only person that can do what God does and function like God is you and I. For that the devil is mad, because that is the limitation that the devil has. Whenever he sees man, he is angry because he is looking at God and he hates God, for that reason, he wants to ensure that he cripples man. The second reason he wants your separation is that there is a purpose for your unity, together you can achieve what God set out for your union in Genesis 1:28. Beloved, be smart enough not to play into Satan's hand. Fight for your unity, fight for togetherness.

Anywhere there is no unity, there is no God. Anywhere there is quarrel, fighting and division, there is no God; therefor, no miracles can take place in such a place. Before God can bless your home, family and marriage you must fight for unity in your home. No matter how you pray for your marriage and you disagree and quarrel all the time, that marriage will never work. Both of you must come to an agreement that you want your marriage to work. So many people are in marriages praying and fasting for their spouse to change, the truth is it may never work. Look at 1st Peter 3:1, “Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives.” The word ‘may’ in the scripture is a probability (it may or may not happen). Why probability? Because God will not usurp somebody’s will. God can only go to the person as a result of the prayer and speak with him through visions, through somebody or anything for him to change. If the man refuses to change, there is nothing God can do but if the man agrees to change, then God can heal that marriage. God can't change the will of a man who is not ready for his will to be changed. God cannot do anything in your marriage, if you are not willing to be changed. Praying for your spouse to be changed is good but God cannot change him until he is willing to be changed. This is the same principle that applies in your marriage, in your business, in your finances. You can pray and we will continue to pray for you but it is only those that are willing to cooperate with God that will see the result of the prayer. This is why everybody cannot have their miracles because not everybody is agreeing with God.

This is the same situation that happens in the life of many believers, you are wondering why things are not working in your life, it is because you are not in agreement with God. Look at Hebrews 3:7-19; So many Christians are taught the same word of God with signs following but their hearts are so hardened that they refuse to agree with God, that is why they don’t see the manifestation of God in their life. God will not force you to believe His word. The moment you refuse to believe what God is telling you, He walks away from you. He cannot do anything in your life. If you are having problems in any area of your life, it is because you don’t believe God. There is a reason why we are taught the word of God, there is a reason some are given apostles, some prophets, some evangelists and some Pastors and some teachers, Ephesians 4:12-13, “For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.” Once we get to the level where we all believe the same thing and accept the same truth, miracles starts to happen. When we get to a point where we all have the same knowledge of God, He will move in and start working. In Romans 12:16 the Bible says, “Be of the same mind one toward another. ” You must do the same thing in your marriage, in your business, you must be of the same mind. Any where there is envy and confusion what you find there is every evil works. That is the domain of the devil, because you have permitted it, until you change your mode of operation, God is not going to come in. This is the same thing that needs to happen in your marriages, God can’t help you if you are not in agreement with Him. Romans 15:5-6, “Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Once we start thinking the same thing and speaking the same things, God will move in our lives as a church and family.

The Bible says in the book of Mark 6:5, “And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folks, and healed them. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.” When a person is not in agreement with you and he is not of the same mind, you have to teach the person the truth. It becomes the person’s decision whether to accept it or not. That is why you must counsel your wife as a man and keep counseling gradually she begins to change until the change you desire becomes evident.
