Now look at the book of Acts 6:1-3 the Bible says, “And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration. Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.” The first thing they looked for among the men to fill these position was honesty. Is honesty excellent? Yes it is. In other words even though the person was filled with the Holy Ghost and wisdom but doesn’t have good honest character, he is disqualified. Greetings beloved, I welcome you to the month of February. I hope you are increasing in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? I will like to admonish you on what I titled ‘The Wrong Race.’ Hebrews 12:1-2 says, “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” The race of faith we are supposed to run is a race that we run with patience, looking unto Jesus. It is a race whose focus and end is the Lord Jesus Christ. This is the Christian race. Something else that we can extract from what Paul says is that not all that call themselves Christians are running the race, otherwise why the exhortation “LET US RUN … the Race.” The q...

Dear Teens, I welcome you to a glorious year that the Lord has made for us, we will rejoice and be glad in it in Jesus name. This new year, there are some salient things we must begin to imbibe so that we can maximize our results and live a glorious Christian life and they are: 1 . Eat a lot of food: The Word of God is food for our Spirit; we cannot grow and develop spiritually without it. Matthew 4:4, “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” To eat is beyond just putting food in your mouth, feeding is said to have taken place when edible substances have been ingested into body system. So we must read our Bibles beyond the letters, it must be ingested into our system through meditation. In 2024 we must learn to sit with God’s word until it gains access into us through meditation else it will not produce the desired results. This year, 2024, we are mounting up with wings as eagles. We are attaining greater heights and succeeding in greater measures in Jesus name. God sees the end from the beginning and proclaim His will and purpose according to the spirit of prophecy. But we must take the prophecy and war a good warfare with it, 1st Timothy 1:18. God's word doesn't just come to pass because God said it, someone has to make it happen and that person is you. We must take God's word for us in the year 2024 and resist all the impossibilities Satan may throw your way. Jesus said in Matthew 11:12 that, “The kingdom of heaven suffered violence, and only the violent taketh it by force.” Nothing changes on earth except force is applied. We have an evil kingdom of darkness resisting every one of our progress, therefore to see change in 2024 in the direction of God's will for our lives, we must stand and fight the good fight of faith (1st Timothy 6:12). I will be sharing with you on what I titled “Stop Looking Back.” The Bible made us to understand that as Christians we are in a race, 1st Corinthians 9:24, "Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain" . We are in a race and we must end up well, one thing we must do and consistently do is to stop looking back at our past, at our old lifestyle. No Christian can ever come to his or her place of victory in the Kingdom who consistently stays in his or her past. His or her past pleasures, failures, defeat, pain, lust, unforgiveness etc. It is one trap of Satan to keep a believer from making tangible progress.   Dear Teens, I welcome you to this last month of the year 2023, the Lord has been good to us and we thank Him for His preservation and protection. In this edition, I would like us to understand how God trains His children. This will help us to better understand how to relate with God in every situation. There are two major ways God trains His children, 1. Nurturing 2. Discipline 1. To Nurture means to nurse, to nourish or to feed; to give tender care . This is how God starts the training process with us, as new born babes, God basically nourishes us, that is why scripture tells us in 1st Peter 2:2 says, “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.” The nurturing process is how you begin the growth process in anything, in plants, animals, humans even in new businesses.
