FOOD FOR TEENS: COLD WATER

Image
Welcome to the beautiful month of December, greetings in the name of Jesus. I want to talk to you on something it I titled Cold Water. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 25:25, "As cold water is to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country." According to the above scripture, the writer is trying to describe good news as Cold water, and we know that good news refers to the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and far country refers to heaven.        So we can render that scripture as follows: “Just as cold water is to a thirsty soul, so is the gospel of Jesus from heaven to man.” To further explain this, let us look at Lazarus and the rich man, Luke 16:22-28, “So it was that the beggar died and was carried by the angel to Abraham’s bosom, the rich man also died and was buried and being in torment in hades he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. Then he cried and said father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that

FOOD FOR TEENS: FIRST THINGS FIRST

Image
My beloved teens, I welcome you into the month of November in Jesus name. This month I want to talk to you about your priorities as a believer. What should be our priorities as Christian? What are those things that we should deal with first as young Christians so as to enjoy a fantastic and victorious Christian life? In the book of Matthew 6:33, Jesus Christ told us to seek FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Now the question is how do you seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness? The Kingdom Of God:            Remember that Colossians 1:13 tells us that we have already been translated into the kingdom of God; know that the day you accept Christ you are automatically translated into the kingdom of God. The Righteousness Of God:           This is where a lot of teenagers miss it, they do not fully understand the concept of righteousness as believers and how it should be enjoyed as Christians. We know that by reason of the death and resur

THE TWO KINDS OF FAITH.

The subject of faith is so important in Christianity and in our relationship with God that Hebrews 11:6 tells us that, without it (faith) none of us can please God. If there is any desire that should be in the heart of any believer in Christ, it is to please God. Colossians 1:10 (amp.) says, ''That you may walk (live and conduct yourselves) in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him and desiring to please Him in all things...'' If there is anything a Christian should desire above all other things, it should be pleasing God. But no Christian can live to please God unless he walks by faith. Therefore, the subject of faith for a believer should not be taken for granted. All Christians must be truly grounded in faith, hence I wrote this article to help you. There are two kinds of people on earth according to Romans 8:5, they are, 1. Those that are after the flesh. 2. Those that are

FOOD FOR TEENS - GRAVITY

Image
Dear teens, grace and peace be multiplied in your life this new month in Jesus name. This month I want to talk to you about something I titled "gravity." I know you are wondering what gravity has got to do with God's word. Anyway by the end of this article you will understand.                 Gravity is a force that pulls an object or body towards the centre of the earth so that things fall to the ground when they are dropped. Gravity is a law that everything on earth must obey. Just like we can prove gravity physically, there is also a force that works on everybody/objects on this earth spiritually, that is exactly like gravity.                 The Bible makes us understand in Proverbs 25:3 that " The heaven for height and the earth for depth..." This goes to prove that everything that is associated (from) this earth is supposed to gravitate to the centre of the earth spiritually which is its depth. No wonder when something bad happens, people

WISDOM FOR LIVING

Image
Hello beloved, welcome to the month of October. May this month be the best month yet for you as we  celebrate Nigeria's independence. I will like to share the word of God with you on what I titled, ''Wisdom for Living.''         2 nd Timothy 3:16, "All scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." Note that, all scripture is given by the inspiration of God but all scripture is not divinely inspired by God. All that are written in the Bible were written because God led the writer to do so but God did not inspire some characters in the Bible to say some of the things they said. In order words, it is not all statement in the Bible that is God's word. For example, in Job 1:21b, Job said thus, "the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken; blessed be the name of the Lord.&
