WHAT WE MUST DO

Greetings to you my beloved saints. I wish you God’s blessings and favour in the name of Jesus Christ. May God prosper you more and more as we progress in this year of UNUSUAL GLORY.

For us to enjoy the miraculous power of God in our lives, there is always something we must do. The Jailer in Acts 16:30 asked the Apostle Paul thus, “What must I do to be saved? There is always something to do to have a miracle in our lives. In Mark 10:17, the young rich man asked Jesus Christ thus, “Good master, what must I do to inherit eternal life.” Miracles don’t just happen; something must be done to make it happen. The Lord has told us by the Spirit that 2018 is our year of UNUSUAL GLORY. But this word will not come to pass except we do as he wants. To some people they say God has spoken and whatever God says must come to pass. That is the word of an ignoramus. The Word of God does not just come to pass on earth, men will either make it come to pass or not.

In Psalm 119:89 scripture says thus, “For ever O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.” Heaven is different from the earth. It is only in heaven that God’s word is settled not on the earth. It is the responsibility of ma to settle the Word of God on earth.

There are two reasons God’s Word cannot just happen on its own on earth:

1. Psalm 115:16 says, “The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s: But the earth hath he given to the children of men.” God has dominion over the heavens but man has dominion over the earth. Therefore, before God can interfere in the affairs of the earth, man must give Him permission through prayers, if not He has no right.

Matthew 18:18 says, “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and Whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Man has a responsibility to bind on earth while God has the responsibility to bind in heaven.

The Word of God cannot just happen on earth except man make it happen. It is because God is not in charge of the running of the earth at the moment, the devil is. In 2nd Corinthians 4:4, Paul by the Spirit of God called the devil the god of this world. The devil and his demons are the ones running this world at the moment. Until Adam’s lease elapses, Satan and his demons will continue to run this earth. If it was God running this earth, there will not be death, sickness or disease. But because the devil is the author of those vises named above hence we experience them because he is the one in charge of the earth at the moment. When Adam lease expires and God establishes His kingdom on earth, then there will be no sickness, disease, death, poverty etc. – Isaiah 11:6-10.But for now Satan is in charge of the earth and rule over the earth. He ensures that whatsoever God says on the earth does not come to pass. But Christ the second Adam has defeated the devil and stripped him of the authority he stole from the first Adam and given it to the church. It is only the church that has the authority to resist the devil until he flees – James 4:7.

Revelation 1:18, “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” Hebrews 2;14-15 says, “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” Matthew 28:18-19, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” Colossians 2:15, “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. “

Though Jesus Christ has stripped the devil of his authority but he still has power which in the greek is called dunamis. But authority is greater than dunamis. Therefore the church must use the authority granted him Christ Jesus to ensure that the will of God prevails on earth, and this is done through prayer and declaration of God’s Word in faith.

Therefore beloved, we must wait on God in prayer and fasting to make sure what he declared concerning 2018 for us is realized. I assure you that if you do this, 2018 shall be a year of UNUSUAL GLORY for you. – Congratulations!
