HOW TO INCREASE YOUR FAITH PART 2

Continue from last edition….

Your words control your life but it has to be in your heart before it can work from your mouth. Saying it alone is not enough, you’ve got to believe it with your heart according to Romans 10:10, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Anybody can speak but only those who believe with their hearts will make it happen.

The more you speak, the more the reality of salvation in you. Hebrews 10:23, “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised)” When there is no confession, there is no faith. Don’t confess your doubt, keep your mouth shut if you doubt. Confess your faith, and your faith will increase and your believing will be strengthened. Once you begin to confess it, your faith is emboldened. Mark 11:23, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Keep saying it and it will happen like you have said. You may doubt in your mind but don’t doubt in your spirit.

How faith works

Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report.” Faith has a timing and you must work based on the timing of faith. In Hebrews 11:1 the bible says Now faith is…., also in the book of Hebrews 11:6 the Bible makes us understand that, “…for he that cometh to God must believe that he IS…” God is a now God. When your speaking is not in the now, you are speaking hope and not faith. For example, when you begin to say, “I know one day I will be healed” that’s not faith, that’s hope (a mere desire, dream or wish). God is not obliged to move when you speak hope, only faith moves God.

Faith is NOW, not it shall be. Use the language of faith and not the language of hope. Hope is good, it sets the goal so that faith can reach unto it and achieve it. Hope is a desire, faith is the realization. Without faith hope has no substance, faith gives hope something that you can relate with. Faith gives reality to the things you hope for. Faith is the proof that what you cannot see actually exists. Hold on to the proof and evidence until the substance comes.

May God bless you richly. See you next month.
