GOD CANNOT LIE

The word of God in scriptures is God speaking to us, but we have to get to a level in our relationship with God that we know that the Bible we carry contains the word of God and we must also realize that whatsoever prophecy or promise written in the Bible is God talking to us. If you believe that the Bible contains the word of God and every word written in it is God talking to us, then you should

come to a level of understanding that God cannot lie. Whatever He has said in the Bible or the hearing of your ears, is not possible for Him to fail.

In Numbers 23:19 the Bible says, “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” God doesn’t joke with his words, if he has blessed you, no man can change it. He does not excuse Himself from His word. If there is any word spoken in the Bible that is a promise for the betterment of your life, rejoice because you are blessed already.

 The Bible says in 2nd Corinthians 1:20 that, “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” If He has spoken, He will bring it to pass. He is obligated to ensure that His word comes to pass in your life. He further established in Hebrews 6:17-18, “Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:” If He has said anything concerning you it will happen as He has said and no man can change. It is impossible for God to lie -Titus 1:2.

Now that we have established that it is impossible for God to lie, what do you see in any situtaion you find yourself? Jeremaih 1:11 says, “Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.” The rod of an almond tree in this scripture is talking about Jesus who is the branch of David (Isaiah 11:1) who is the word of God. In any situation you find yourself don’t see confusion, don’t see the end of your life, don’t see lack, see the word. Ask yourself, what does the word of God say concerning this situation? The word is the solution. And in Verse 12 of Jeremiah 1, “Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.” There is nothing God hastens to perform other than His word, if you can lay hold on the word, performance, miracles, signs and wonders is yours. Anyone who lay hold on the word of God command signs. 

Never find yourself empty of the Word, this is why you must study the word. Psalm 119:89, “For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.” Anything the Father has said is established in heaven but you must settle it on earth. You must hold on to the word and call it done on earth because it is already done in heaven, Matt 18:18-19, “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” You must make the word of God your main stay. You’ve got to study it, meditate it, speak it and believe it and it will change your life. Once you start having relationship with the word, the miracles start happening spontaneously.

There are many voices in the world calling for your attention, there are voices of the devil, there are voices of men and the voice of God, but only the voice of God (i.e the word of God) can command signs and wonders. No matter who is speaking or situation you are facing or report that you have received, if God has not commanded it, it is in vain. 1st John 5:9, “If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.” Take the report of God much more higher than the report of any man, take it higher more than the report of your feelings. Romans 3:3-4, “For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.” Until God is made true in your life every problem remains. Until you make the report of God what you hear and believe every problem persists. The solution is in the word of God, Jesus is the solution. The working of the word is the working of Christ, trust Him. Isaiah 55:1-3, “Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.” When you trust, believe and practice the word of God for your life, you begin to enjoy life. The solution is in the word, trust the word.
