THE MIDAS TOUCH part one

The Midas touch is about a myth of a king who was given a supernatural power that everything he touches turns to gold. Do you know that, that is your life that everything you touch is supposed to prosper? That everything you do is supposed to succeed? A Christian is not supposed to struggle, the earlier you know this the better, let’s quit the mindset of the world.

There are two kinds of people on earth, the one who God has blessed, whom the blessing of Abraham rests upon and the one who doesn’t carry the favour of God, the ones who are meant to struggle. When you look at the Bible from the book of Genesis, it’s all about two persons; one that God is with and the other that God is not with. It’s all about two Adams, the first Adam that was defeated and the second and last Adam Jesus Christ that triumphed. It is all about two people, Isaac that was blessed who was the child of the promise whom the blessing of Abraham rested upon and Ishmael who was born by flesh whom the blessing of God did not rest upon. It is all about two people, Jacob who was blessed, who took the blessing meant for his brother and Esau who lost the blessing. It is all about two kinds of people, the Christians and the unbelievers. It is all about two kinds of people, the one that God is with and the one that God is not with. There should be a distinction between you, who is a believer, who has God in your life and the person who doesn’t have God in his/her life.

You cannot live your life not getting results, there should be divine results coming out of your life. You are different from the people of the world, you have been separated from them, you have God in you and God with you. You are not supposed to fail. And you must know this thing; you must believe it and it must work in your life. When you enter a place as a Christian, there is supposed to be a change because a blessing has come. You cannot work in a place and the place will remain the same or the place instead of prospering will start having a curse hanging upon it. If that happens to you, it is because you are not conscious of what you carry. When a Christian handles anything the blessing is supposed to show. You are not supposed to handle anything in your life and that thing will not prosper. The same blessing upon Abraham is on you.

I told you earlier that it is all about two kinds of people and this thing must show in your life and reveal the camp that you belong to. Either you are in the camp of Abraham which is Jesus or you are in the camp of Adam, which was the first Adam who was defeated. You cannot be in both camps. Your life must reflect the glory everywhere you are, and nothing is supposed to die in your hand. I want you to realize something from the book of Genesis 12:3, the Bible told us, “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” He said in Abraham All families of the earth shall be blessed, which means those who are outside Abraham cannot be blessed except they are in Abraham. Which means any family outside Abraham cannot partake of the blessing of God. There are other blessings outside the blessing of God, the devil also blesses and there is also the blessing of the world, where you cut corners and do all sought of dubious things to succeed. But I am talking about the God kind of blessing. The bible says, the blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich and adds no sorrow.” I am talking about the kind of blessing that does not go with sorrow, the kind of blessing orchestrated by the power of God and the Spirit of God and the word of God. The kind of blessing that goes with peace and not sorrow. God poured everything upon Abraham, look at Genesis 28:14, “And thy SEED shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy SEED shall all the families of the earth be blessed.” This blessing is for us, spreading, increase and abundance. The Bible told us in Galatians 3:16 that, “Now to Abraham and his SEED were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.” What promise is he talking about? He is talking about the promise of the blessing. And scripture told us in Galatians 3:29 that, “And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's SEED, and heirs according to the promise.” If you are a Christian, then you are Abraham’s seed and you are an heir or inheritor of the promise of Abraham. What qualifies you for this blessing is having Christ in you. The Bible says, Christ in you is the hope of glory, Colossians 1:27. If you are a Christian, you have the Midas touch. You have the ability to turn everything to gold. If you are in that organization, you work there, then they must know that a believer is there. You are the salt of the earth, you are the light of the world, you are a city set upon a hill, you can’t be hid. There is something in your life that you carry, that anything you handle must be blessed. You are a child of Abraham, you belong to the blessing, the promises are yours in the name of Jesus.

God bless you.Continue next month
