REIGNING IN LIFE PART 2

You have to believe that the life of God is in you and it is at work in you; that is why a Christian that is full of faith can walk away unscathed from sickness or situations that could have killed him. Christ is his life. The Holy Ghost in you is like a generator on standby. When the public power fails, your generator kicks in.

That is one of the ministries of the Holy Spirit, He is our standby. When your strength fails, the power of the Holy Ghost kicks in and begins to work if you believe. Whenever you are weak, He begins to work in you if you believe.

You can’t live this life like every other unbeliever, there is an anointing upon you; don’t neglect it. There is a life in you. If you don’t give attention to that life it won’t work. If you don’t give attention to the life in you, you may end up like king saul because he never payed attention to it. There is life in you, it is called the life of God, it is called eternal life and the Bible says this life is in you if you believe that Jesus Christ died for you. Colossians 3:4, “When Christ, WHO IS OUR LIFE, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.” And Ephesians 2:6 says, “And hath raised us up together...” You don’t belong to this worldly life, you are sitted together in heavenly places in Christ. You must act like a man and a woman of heaven.

The Bible says that Jesus Christ is sitted in heavenly places and you are sitted in Him. That tells you that you are no longer fighting or struggling to have anything. Jesus already did the fight and struggle for you; He is sitting now because the work is finished and because the work is finished, you are sitted also in Him. You are sitted in Him because Christ has made you a king. Jesus already fought and won the battle and delivered the kingdom into your hands. Now that He has delivered the kingdom into your hands, you sit and enjoy the kingdom, that is why Psalm 23:5 says, “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies...” Christ already prepared a table for you to come and enjoy but you have got to believe that the work has been done - Revelation 1:6, “And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father..” They may not know you as a king in your area but heaven sees you as one. That is why you are sitted. When kings reign and rule they sit and when they make decrees they sit down. Revelations 5:10 says, “And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” For some Christians, they are waiting to reign in heaven. You don’t reign in heaven because everything has already been made available, you reign on earth where the devil is. If you are reigning, it means that nothing should have dominion over you, that is why the Bible says in the book of Romans 6:14, “For sin shall not have dominion over you...” You are a king and you are suppose to withstand whatsoever comes against you. You are a king, kings decree justice they don’t buckle under pressure. A king cannot be influenced by the devil.

Before a king can reign, he has to have a sceptre. A sceptre is an ornamental staff that a king holds. When he points it and whatever he decrees that goes with that sceptre must be done. Kings don’t play with their words. That is why the Bible told us in Ecclesiastes 5:6 that we should be careful what we says because the angels who carries out our assignments do not joke with our words. Once you decree a thing, your angels are your messengers and they swing into action to carry it out. That is why you have to be careful what you say. You have a sceptre, it is the sceptre of righteousness, Hebrews 1:8, “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.” The righteousness of Christ, is your ornament of office that you hold. As long as you hold it, you can’t make a mistake in the presence of God. You are a king, a king does not make a mistake, even though you made a mistake, it turns to the truth. That is why all things must work together for your good. As far as you love God and you are working for Him, every mistake you make will work together for your good because angels will turn it around. Abraham made mistakes but the mistakes never stopped him from becoming who God wanted him to be. As far as you keep following, it will turn out for your good. Romans 5:17 says, “For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.” If you have righteousness, you shall reign in life through Jesus Christ.

You may be reading this article and you are sick or broke or facing a difficult situation, you must realize that the situation is temporal, you will reign over it and come out successful in Jesus name. Even after David was anointed king, he didn’t look like he was a king, he was still hiding in caves. You may be struggling now that is the day of your cave experience. The period of your cave experience will soon be over and the glory of God shall be revealed in your life in Jesus name. Every situation you are passing through is a temporal situation, the anointing will overwhelm it, destroy it and change your life, it is just a matter of time; “For though your beginning may be small, your later end is increasing” – Job 8:7. The power and the glory of God is at work in you.

The sceptre of office is the righteousness of Christ. If it is not the righteousness of Christ, you are not recognized. It is not your works, you take upon you the righteousness of Christ. When you take it, you take upon you the authority of Christ, now you have the power and the devil backs off. It is not your own righteousness, it is the righteousness of Jesus and except you receive Jesus, you are not recognized by God. Jesus Christ is the only way, the truth and the life.(John 14:6). If you have not received Him, you don’t have a staff. He is waiting for you, come to Him today.
