THE LORD NEEDS YOU part one

Beloved, I welcome you to this wonderful month of April. May this glory of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ continue to shine upon you.

The Bible says in the book of Luke 19:29-36 thus, “And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethaphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, that he sent two of His disciples, Saying, Go ye into the village over against you: in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither. And if any man ask you, why do you loose him? Thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him. And they that where sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them. And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, why loose ye the colt? And they said, The Lord hath need of him. And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon. And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.”

A colt is a young horse that is not matured enough to express what it is created for. This colt was abandoned and not useful because it was young and inexperienced, that was a limitation. Even with its limitations, the colt was also tied in a village. But Jesus needed a horse to use, to ride to Jerusalem. There were many horses in Israel but Jesus never called for any of them. He saw that there was a colt nobody cared about, a colt that nobody was in use of; restrained and abandoned in the village because it was inexperienced and full of deficiencies which made it unattractive for men to use it. But Jesus saw it and fell in love with it and that was what He needed to use. Could it be that there is somebody who has felt abandoned, that nobody loves or cares about? Who felt that he or she has been restrained by the devil or Humanity? Who has been neglected one way nor the other, I have this to say to you that you are loosed in Jesus name. Jesus have need of you. Men may not be interested in you, people may not see you as effective but Jesus loves you and wants to use you today.

God does not use the qualified, He uses the willing. He has never used anybody that is qualified, He will only use you, if you are willing. “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” Isaiah 1:19. Jesus is interested in you as you are and wants to use you. You don’t have to place yourself in a position where there are no flaws in you, you may not have what it takes to be used, all He wants from you is your willingness. Are you willing? if you are willing He will turn your life around. A colt that was abandoned become a celebrity, people spread their clothes on the ground for the colt to walk on because Jesus sat on it. Jesus wants to use you and when He does people will celebrate you. Nobody ever carries Jesus and he is relegated or abandoned. You don’t have to lie, defraud or get involved in fetish things to become a success. Jesus is the beacon of success. He can make you the man or woman that you desire to be. Every man and woman has a desire to be a success and that success can only be realized in Christ Jesus. If you allow Him to mount you today, you life will change for the better.

One day Jesus went to the sea side and He saw certain fishermen, men that were not qualified, common men trying to look for a means of sustenance but He said unto them in the book of Matthew 4:19 thus, “...Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” There may be things that you are involved in but when you become a repairer of the bridge and start repairing the lives of people, your life becomes mighty and great because Jesus has come into your life. One of such men is Peter, he was uneducated. A man of anger who can’t keep his mouth shut but when Jesus Christ got a hold of him, his life changed. He preached the gospel and in one day three thousand people received Jesus Christ. This was a man who was afraid when Jesus mounted him and he became a great man. The Bible says in the book of Acts 10:25 that Cornelius a centurion, a very high ranking man in the Roman army saw Peter; (a man who was uneducated, a man without any influence) and bowed down and worshipped him, why? Because Jesus came into him and mounted him. “And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.” Cornelius wasn’t worshipping Peter but who Peter carried, that is the Lord Jesus. Peter replied in Acts 10:26, “But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.” You may be a man but when you carry Jesus, you become more than a man. That is why we talk the way we talk and preach the way we preach because we have seen Jesus. Because we know and carry Him, and whatever happens life is going to get better and better like a shining light that shines brighter and brighter unto a perfect day. Not because of us but because we know we carry the repairer of the bridge Jesus Christ. When you allow Jesus in you, people recognize you even those who did not care about you begin to appreciate you, it may not happen overnight but if you keep carrying him, it will happen.

Continues next month. God bless you
