THE SPIRIT THE GLORY part one

Hello my dearly beloved saints, I bring you greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I thank God that you are living in grace and victory of our Lord. I want to admonish you on what I titled ‘The Spirit, The Glory’.

The Bible says in the book of Matthew 5:14 thus, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” You are the light of the world. You are the glory of the Lord and your glory cannot be hid in Jesus name. You are where you ought to be and you are well positioned in Jesus name. Isaiah 60:1-2 says, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” You don’t shine when you are sitting down; no lamp can give light when it is hidden. You must distinguish yourself. You must come to a place where you can give enough light to the people around you and the Bible says, you are well positioned for that.

Then you may ask, if I am shining, why is my situation the way it is? Why am I struggling? Many people are struggling and it looks like their light aren’t shinning. Even to live for Jesus, they are struggling. Why? I will tell you. Peter and the rest of the disciples were with Jesus for three and half years, you’ll discover that with all the time that they spent with Jesus in the flesh they where still foolish. But when the Holy Ghost came, the once stupid and foolish people became full of wisdom and it changed their lives. Your problem is that you are living your life apart from the Holy Ghost. Matthew 25:1-12 , “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them. But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.” What made the five to be wise and five to be foolish? The first five were foolish because they didn’t take oil in their lamps. “While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.” How did the foolish know that there was no oil in their lamps? They trimmed the lamp, light it, it burns a little and it goes off and they discovered that there is no oil in their lamps. This is the life of some Christians, you burn for a while and go off because their is no oil for consistency. When there is no oil in the lamp; the lamp will be on but it will quickly burn out. Many Christians are experiencing burn out because there is no oil in there lamp.

Before civilization, remember that we used to have lamps (kerosene lantern) before power supply came. Underneath the lamp is the reservior for the oil, inside is where you put the wick (thread). The wick must be in contact with the reservior for the light to keep burning but there must be oil in the reservior and the wick must be long enough to draw the oil from the reservior for the light to be on consistently. If any of these transaction is not complete, you will not get any light. This is you are Christian, spirit, soul and body; you are the lamp. Some are burning and some have burn out, why? Some have oil while some don’t. Those that burn out are the five foolish virgins, they are Christians but they don’t have the oil for consistency. You don’t see the wick (thread) touching the oil in the reservior but it is the one producing the light. The glass of the lamp or lantern is talking about your mind and body, it is a reflection of the glory of Christ in you. The wick is your spirit, 2nd Corinthians 4:7 says, “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” Your spirit is the one producing the light, you see the manifestations of the light but you don’t know how the light comes. But the light is coming with the contact of the wick (your spirit) with the oil in the reservior. The oil is the Holy Ghost, once there is no oil, you will burn out.

God bless you.
