WHAT TO DO TO MAKE THEM WORK FOR YOU?

PRAYERS: Have you discovered in the book of Acts that when an individual or the church prays the angels always work? If you are not a praying your angels can’t work for you; either you are praying or there are people praying for you; else you will not see the angelic manifestations in your life. I often tell people to pray for their protection and that of their families everyday in their lives. why? Because the devil wants to kill you if you give him the opportunity. God has given you angels because the world is in wickedness and the only thing the devil will like, it is to kill a Christian. You must not let down your guards at any time.

Look at the book of Acts 12:1-7, “Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.) And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.” Why did James die? Why was Herod able to kill James? Was James not an apostle? Because the church relaxed. God does not do anything in absentia, He does things with you. Angels do things with you. If you don’t do things with them they can’t help you. They are not to minister to you but for you. In other words they are to help you. You must cooperate with God, for God to help you. You must also cooperate with the angels for the angels to help you. And one of the ways you cooperate with them is PRAYERS. If the Church had not prayed, Peter also would have been killed? When you pray, you set your angels in motion to work for your good.

Let’s look at the book of Acts 10:1-4, “There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always. He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.” One of the two things Cornelius did was prayer. Every prayer you make is standing before God like a memorial. Your prayer is a concern to God because every prayer you make, God will answer in the name of Jesus. To have the ministry of angels work in your life you must keep praying. Even Jesus our Lord in Matthew 26:5 had to pray to God to release angels when He needs them. Whatever you don’t ask for you don’t get, that is why we pray and God is a covenant God; who is faithful to His promises. But you must cooperate with Him for everything to come to pass in your life. Prayer precedes angelic interventions, 2nd Kings 6:17 says, “And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.” If Elisha had not prayed his servants would not have seen the manifestation and yet they were there. Prayer opens your eyes to see beyond the ordinary.

 BE A KINGDOM ADDICT: If you want angelic visitations and the ministry of angels to happen in your life, you must be a kingdom addict. Once you are concerned about what God is concerned about, He puts your issues first. You are a kingdom representative, when you focus on the kingdom business, God focuses on you. The moment you begin to rebel against the kingdom, the privileges due to you ceases to function. You are an ambassador of Christ, once you put the kingdom first and do everything to promote the kingdom of God, the spotlight of heaven is rested on you. Take a look at the book of Acts 8:26-27 says, “And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert. And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship.” Why did the angel tell Philip to go to Gaza? He wanted Philip to see the Ethiopian Eunuch and preach to him. The angels came to speak to Philip to enable him fulfill the ministry of soul winning that God has given to him. Once you care about the Kingdom, get ready for angelic visitations and manifestations. Why won’t God visit you when you are always there to promote the kingdom? He will speak to you more because He knows that you will do as He says.
