Hello beloved,  I hope you are increasing in the knowledge of God and of our Lord Jesus Christ? I will like to share with you on what I titled " Be careful with your mouth." It's so disheartening to hear many people speak, even believers. They speak carelessly, without thinking of their words. They allow their situations through their five senses determine what comes out from their mouth. Forgetting something, that the building blocks of their lives are words from their mouth. They have not come to terms with the immense consequences of the words that proceed from their mouth. The book of Proverbs 6:2 says, “Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth." So many people have been caught, captured, and occupied by Satan because they have not learnt how to make good use of their mouth. It is in the book of Genesis, you will be able to know why God created what He created and why He created them that way. I will like to admonish you on what I titled “ THE PLEASURE OF SIN” Proverbs 20:17 says “Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but after that his mouth shall be filled with gravel.” Have you tried to eat rice and beans before, only for your teeth to unexpectedly grind a stone? The stone stopped you from continuing to chew and swallow the food in your mouth. You had to spew it out of your mouth. What you experienced is far from a mouth full of gravel which our anchor scripture compares what stolen bread will turn to. Stolen bread may taste sweet but it is a lie. If there were not some sort of pleasure or immediate gratification in sin, nobody would do it. The reality of sin is that it starts off giving you what you want, while decomposing your health and happiness in the end. There is no long term joy or sustainable pleasure in sin. What God has in store for us far exceeds what we can achieve on our own, it goes beyond our wildest imagination, those desires in us to achieve great things are product of the great things God has placed inside us but because we have not sort Him, we try to achieve these things based on what we see in the natural. We try to make sense of those things our spirit yearns for, we try to give them expression but we fail to go to Him that has put these things within us. You see people trying to achieve success in their careers, homes, businesses, academics, etc. thinking they will find true fulfillment. They dream of owning big companies, hoping to find fulfillment because they think that is the best way to get true fulfillment but every time a target is met a new one is created, yet the fulfillment they seek seems to elude them. Now look at the book of Acts 6:1-3 the Bible says, “And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration. Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.” The first thing they looked for among the men to fill these position was honesty. Is honesty excellent? Yes it is. In other words even though the person was filled with the Holy Ghost and wisdom but doesn’t have good honest character, he is disqualified. I will like to admonish you on what I titled ‘The Wrong Race.’ Hebrews 12:1-2 says, “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” The race of faith we are supposed to run is a race that we run with patience, looking unto Jesus. It is a race whose focus and end is the Lord Jesus Christ. This is the Christian race. Something else that we can extract from what Paul says is that not all that call themselves Christians are running the race, otherwise why the exhortation “LET US RUN … the Race.” The q

Dear Teens, I welcome you to a glorious year that the Lord has made for us, we will rejoice and be glad in it in Jesus name. This new year, there are some salient things we must begin to imbibe so that we can maximize our results and live a glorious Christian life and they are: 1 . Eat a lot of food: The Word of God is food for our Spirit; we cannot grow and develop spiritually without it. Matthew 4:4, “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” To eat is beyond just putting food in your mouth, feeding is said to have taken place when edible substances have been ingested into body system. So we must read our Bibles beyond the letters, it must be ingested into our system through meditation. In 2024 we must learn to sit with God’s word until it gains access into us through meditation else it will not produce the desired results. This year, 2024, we are mounting up with wings as eagles. We are attaining greater heights and succeeding in greater measures in Jesus name. God sees the end from the beginning and proclaim His will and purpose according to the spirit of prophecy. But we must take the prophecy and war a good warfare with it, 1st Timothy 1:18. God's word doesn't just come to pass because God said it, someone has to make it happen and that person is you. We must take God's word for us in the year 2024 and resist all the impossibilities Satan may throw your way. Jesus said in Matthew 11:12 that, “The kingdom of heaven suffered violence, and only the violent taketh it by force.” Nothing changes on earth except force is applied. We have an evil kingdom of darkness resisting every one of our progress, therefore to see change in 2024 in the direction of God's will for our lives, we must stand and fight the good fight of faith (1st Timothy 6:12). According to Isaiah 60:1, if we must shine, w
