FOOD FOR TEENS: THE CONVERSION THEORY

Jesus Christ said in Luke 11:9, "And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." James tells us in James 1:5, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." Jesus said again in John 16:23, "And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you."

Several times, we are told in Scriptures that if ask anything of the Father, it shall be given us. The question is why are Christians not taking advantage of this blank cheque? Why do we have Christians jumping from place to place looking for solution when scripture tell us so plainly to ask it shall be given us? The reason is quite simple, lack of understanding. James boldly declared in James 4:2 that, “ye have not, because ye ask not.” But someone is going to say I've asked God several times but I still don't have what I asked for, but if you look at these scriptures closely, you will discover that there are four key words used in these scriptures;. Ask, Give, Receive, Have.

So when I ASK, God GIVES, I RECEIVE, Then I HAVE. Mark 11:24 says, “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” So herein lies the secret to having our desires through prayers; When we ask, God immediately gives to us, but the problem is that many people have not come to understand how this works. To better explain it, let me give an illustration, let's say my earthly father is based in the UK and I ask him for money to pay my school fees and he immediately gives it to me; understand that he wouldn't give me naira but pounds Sterling because that is the currency that is used in the country where he resides, even so when we ask our heavenly Father for anything, He immediately gives it to us, but not in the form in which we want it but in His own heavenly currency. So the reason why people do not receive from God is because they have failed to receive his currency.

The currency of the heaven is the WORD OF GOD, for everything that God must achieve, He must do by His Word. Hebrews 11:3 says, "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." So now we receive God's answer to our prayers that is His Word, we ought to celebrate like the man who sent his son pounds Sterling to pay his school fees, this process is what is referred to as "believing you receive" according to Mark 11:24.

The next step is to convert that pounds Sterling to naira with which you can pay the school fees because the school will not accept Pounds Sterling, so to convert the word of God to our real life desire we must return those words back to God with Thanksgiving. Isaiah 55:10-11, "For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." The conversion process takes place when we return His Word back to Him with worship and Thanksgiving, what happens next is that the Word of God begins to internalize those things we received within us so that we might be able to attract them physically. No wonder Abraham was called Father of all nations, long before he fathered a child, it changed his whole internal make up, that he knew what to do (when he attended to Angels) to receive the physical manifestation of the blessing.

The word of God returns back to God from our lips just like water evaporates from the earth surface by reason of the heat of the sun, when the pressure of our desires come against us, we must return the promises of God which we received as answers to our prayer, that's how water is converted to vapor which returns back to heaven, and that's how spiritual blessings are converted to physical manifestation and our joy becomes full. No wonder in the next two verses we are told what happens after we return His WORD back to Him. Isaiah 55:12-13, "For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off." That's when everything begin to work to give you the physical manifestation to that which you have received through is Word.
