THE CONSTITUTION part two

The Bible says in Galatians 3:13-14 thus, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree. That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might recieve the promise of the Spirit through faith.” You must come to appreciate what Christ has done for you. The reason Christians are having problems is because they have been told so many lies before they became born again, and now that they are Christians, they still believe those lies. And this is the reason so many Christians are moving from one church to another looking for who to deliver them from the curses. It is a lie of the devil, Christ has redeemed you from the curses; that should be your confession. The Bible is telling you that though you were once cursed and had the curses working in your life, now that you are a Christian, Christ has redeemed you from the curse of the law, that the blessing of Abraham might be in operation in your life. You cannot have the curses and the blessings you must have one. For those who think they are cursed, they can never be blessed. The moment you start thinking that the curses of your fathers are in operation in your life, you have annihilated and made the blessings of Abraham of no effect in your life. You can’t have both blessings and curses working in your life, you have to choose; either you are blessed or you are cursed.

The blessings and the curses ae expressed in Deuteronomy 28. Deuteronomy 28:1-14 tells us about the blessings and from verses 15-68 tells us all about curses. Galatians 3:13 says Christ has redeemed you from the curses and taken you to the blessings. Colossians 2:14 says, “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.” The Bible is telling us that Jesus Christ blotted out the handwriting of ordinances from verse 15-68 that was against us and leaving for you the blessings from verse 1-14. What is acrude to your account now are the blessings, there are no curses anymore. If you still think you are cursed, it means that what Jesus did does not have the power to bring blessing upon you, which means it is not of effect in your life. For better understanding of what Jesus did, look at 1st John 1:7, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” And 1st Peter 2:24, “Who his own self bare ours sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness...” What Jesus did for you has made you free for the Bible says, “He that the Son sets free is free indeed.” John 8:36.

No devil has the power to kill a Christian. A Christian is not a sinner, stop calling yourself an old sinner. You are either a sinner or a saint; which one are you? Many believers still qualify themselves based on their attitude and character. You are not an old sinner, you are a child of God; there is no sin in your life; you are free from sin (Romans 6). The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ died for our sins; if Jesus died for our sins why should the repercussions of your sin be put on you again. I am not talking about committing sin intentionally, if you go about living a life of sin intentionally God is going to judge you (1st Corinthians 11:31). If truly you are a Christian, you wouldn’t intentionally live a life of sin. I am talking about any sin committed as a result of an error or mistake and you ask God for FORGIVENESS. If you truly are a Christian, your errors won’t count against you because it has worked against Jesus. Jesus already took the repercussion for your errors, how can that repercussion be working against you? It is not possible. Romans 4:6-8 says, “Even as David also describeth the blessedness of man, unto who God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.” He is simply telling us that God won’t charge your sins to your account because He has already charged them to Jesus’s account. Jesus has paid for your sins; because Jesus has paid for your sins the blessings are charged to your account. Therefore, if you are a Christian, whatever fault, error, or mistake you may have made, it is wiped out by the blood of Jesus and the sour grape cannot be yours anymore in Jesus name.

You must come to realize that the devil knows that God wrote a new law but he pretends it doesn’t exist. The devil pretends as though you still have to reap the sins of your father. He doesn’t work according to the law of the new Testament, he walks according to the laws of repercussion in the old Testament and still tries to place the curses resulting from the sins of your father upon you. What you ought to do as a Christian is to enforce what is in the Bible against him, you tell him he has no right to pressure you. Once he realizes that you know the scriptures he leaves you. But as soon as he realizes that you don’t know what is written in the constitution of the kingdom; he puts pressure on you and takes from you what he ought not to have taken from you. He doesn’t respect the Bible until you tell him you know your right in the kingdom. If you don’t tell him who you are in the bible, he will never let you go. He is a malefactor, he only listens to the force of the word of God. You not cursed, you are blessed. It is time to stand strong and look at the devil and tell him who you are in the scriptures.

God bless you. See you next month.
