FOOD FOR TEEN: KINGS & PRIESTS (ROYAL PRIESTHOOD)

Image
Dear Teens, I would like to welcome you to another month of God’s faithfulness. I pray that you experience God like never before in your life in Jesus name. When Jesus redeemed us through His death, burial and resurrection, our spiritual status changed, we were elevated into new status called the Royal Priesthood. The Royal priesthood is a combination of two offices, Royalty which is kingship, and Priesthood. Revelation 1:5-6, “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” Levels have changed, as a believer you are a king and a priest, you must walk in this consciousness and be serious about it for you to succeed as a believer in this earth. It is a great privilege for you to be honored with such status, even as it was...

I'TS NOT WORTH IT : STOP RESISTING GOD IN YOUR LIFE

Image
Dearly beloved, I welcome you all to this awesome month of June. May all that the Lord has for you this month be made manifest in your life in Jesus name, Amen. This month, I will be admonishing you on what I titled, ‘Stop resisting God in your life.’ The Bible says in the book of Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” The New International Version of the same book of Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declared the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” It is important to note by this scripture that God has great things in store for you, not just for your present but also for your future. What a wonderful Father. You facing difficult situations today can take comfort in Jeremiah 29:11 knowing that it is not a promise to immediately rescue you from hardship or suffering, but rather a promise that God has a ...

THE JOY OF THE SPIRIT part two

Image
Hello my dearly beloved saints, I bring you greetings in the name of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. I thank God that you are living in grace and victory of our Lord. Let not your problem describe you, let your position and your personality in Christ describe you. We are not joyful and happy because things are okay with us hundred percent, we are joyful and happy because of the salvation in us and whatsoever problems we have Jesus is helping us turn them around for our good. We know about the workings of Christ and that He never fails, so we are joyful in the Lord, not joyful in our situation. What made vipers and serpents to come to the children of Israel? Numbers 21:4-6 says, “And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red Sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way. And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, nei...

FOOD FOR TEENS: THE OFFENDER & THE OFFENDED

Image
Dear teens, welcome to the month of May and I pray that the good Lord will show you favor throughout this month in Jesus name. Amen. How well do you you understand the gravity of offense? it is a trap, a snare, a stumbling block to lure a believer to fall into sin. A very dicey topic that should not be taken lightly. There are two active participants in this game of offense and they are: 1. The Offender 2. The Offended So basically what we are saying is that these guys are both at the giving and receiving end of offense. If I give offense, I’m the offender and if you receive the offense you are the offended. Guess what? The effect of that offense on both I the giver and you the receiver is grave for both of us, very dangerous, as dangerous as hell. Jesus didn’t mince words when he spoke against offense, He said we shouldn’t be either at the giving end or the receiving end of it but He told us that offense must come, we can not dodge it as long as we are in this world. So, let us unde...

IT'S NOT WORTH IT: WHY COMPLAIN?

Image
Dearly beloved, This month shall be better and greater for you in Jesus name. This month I will be admonishing you on what I titled, “Why Complain.” As we look back into the Old Testament and see how God dealt with the children of Israel, we discover that the Lord always considered their complaints as an act of unbelief directed towards Him. When they complained about their circumstances, their type of food, and even at Moses, God was displeased because they weren’t thankful for what He had provided them. He was disappointed that they refused to trust in Him to provide, protect, and direct the order of their lives. “And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it, and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.” (Number 11:1). Complaining expresses unbelief and gives place to the devil. Complaining is an atmosphere in which the devil thrives, as it essentially honours ...

THE JOY OF THE SPIRIT part one

Image
Beloved, you have to learn the things of God, it doesn’t and it won’t jump on you; that is why God added the teaching ministry to the church so that you can learn how to do what you need to do to make your life better. Just like you go to school to learn how to be a doctor, or a nurse or learn how to be a professional in any field you desire; so also you learn the things of God. For those who learnt how to be professionals in mechanics, I believe the first time you handled the spanner, it felt strange and you were not flowing with it because you were not a professional yet. But now I believe there is a great difference in your handling of the various tools and equipment from when you started. This is as a result of putting it to work over and over again. Whatsoever you practice over and over again you become a professional at. This is why we always admonish you to learn the things of God so that you become a professional in it. In the book of 1st Timothy 4:7 the Bible says, “But refus...

IT'S NOT WORTH IT : DO AWAY WITH UNFORGIVENESS

Image
Dearly beloved, May you experience God in a greater measure this beautiful month in Jesus name. Briefly, I will be sharing with you on what I titled, ‘Do away with unforgiveness.’ The Bible says in Mark 11:25-26, “And when ye stand praying, forgive if ye have aught against any; that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.” These words are clearly stated in scriptures by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ showing us why many Christian prayers seem not to yield results; because of unforgiveness. Just as God has extended His unconditional forgiveness to us; He expects us to extend the same to our neighbors. This is the area where the people of God have problems. We like to enjoy God’s benevolence but we find it difficult to extend the same to others. The gravity of this negative attitude is found in the parable of Jesus about the unforgiving servant (Matthew 18:23-3...
