BEHOLD

Image
Welcome to this wonderful month of February, may the grace of our Lord continually increase in your life in Jesus name.      This month I would like to direct your eyes to something in God’s word that will change your perception about life and it is titled behold. The word ‘behold’ means to direct the eyes to, or fix them upon an object. The word behold appeared in the Bible 1,298 times. It has to be pretty important for it to appear that number or times.      We know that there are two realms; the physical realm and the spiritual realm. We also know that God dwells in the spirit realm. The Bible tells us in Galatians 5:16 to walk in the Spirit. How can we walk in the Spirit? To walk in the spirit, have to first see in the spirit. Just like walking physically you must first see where you headed before you move, that is why blind people always require guidance in order to walk. The same applied in the realm of the spirit and this is ...

BE CONCERNED

Image
Greetings to you my beloved saints. I wish you God’s blessings and favour in the name of Jesus Christ. May God prosper you more and more as we progress in this year of Open door.    Nehemiah 1:1-4, "The words of Nehemiah the son of Hachaliah. And it came to pass in the month Chisleu, in the twentieth year , as I was in Shushsn the palace. That Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews that had escaped, which were left of the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem. And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire. And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept , and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven."    Nehemiah was one of God's people taken captive by King Nebuch...

FOOD FOR TEENS: SETTLE IT

Image
Happy new year God’s people, may all of God’s will and purpose concerning you this year come to pass in Jesus name.    Dear teens God has a word for you as you venture into 2017 and that word is ‘Settle it.’ A lot of people are busy working on their New Year resolutions but the Lord wants me to tell you to ‘settle it.’ For the sake of clarity I will break down every point through question and answering.   Question 1: What is it God wants me to settle?     Follow me and I will explain as we go further. Let us start from the book of Psalms 119:89; For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.” In this scripture the Bible is making us see that, the word of God concerning us as believers is settled in heaven. Has God said anything concerning us as believers? The verse is telling us that it is settled in heaven forever. Has God said in His word that you are rich? My brothers and sisters, it is settled in heaven, has He said you are hea...

THE YEAR OF THE OPEN DOOR

Image
Dearly beloved, welcome to 2017, "The year of the open door." As the Holy Spirit has told us that this year is the year of open door, it is important that we believe it, take it to heart and run with it. It is not enough to just hear it as a sermon and forget it, but we must see it as God's Word for us personally and individually. Remember. When God speaks to one He speaks to all and vise versa. See this declaration of the Spirit of God as God talking to you and believe it with all your heart. When you do, and then expect an open door in all aspects of your life this year. God walks with expectation. Proverbs 23:18 says, that your expectation shall not be cut off. What you expect in your life is what He will do for you. Expect an open door of great and supernatural blessing this 2017.    What does the Spirit of God mean when He talks about "The open door?" It means a supernatural opening or opportunity to another level or greater height. When God opens a d...

FOOD FOR TEENS: COLD WATER

Image
Welcome to the beautiful month of December, greetings in the name of Jesus. I want to talk to you on something it I titled Cold Water. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 25:25, "As cold water is to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country." According to the above scripture, the writer is trying to describe good news as Cold water, and we know that good news refers to the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and far country refers to heaven.        So we can render that scripture as follows: “Just as cold water is to a thirsty soul, so is the gospel of Jesus from heaven to man.” To further explain this, let us look at Lazarus and the rich man, Luke 16:22-28, “So it was that the beggar died and was carried by the angel to Abraham’s bosom, the rich man also died and was buried and being in torment in hades he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. Then he cried and said fa...

FOOD FOR TEENS: FIRST THINGS FIRST

Image
My beloved teens, I welcome you into the month of November in Jesus name. This month I want to talk to you about your priorities as a believer. What should be our priorities as Christian? What are those things that we should deal with first as young Christians so as to enjoy a fantastic and victorious Christian life? In the book of Matthew 6:33, Jesus Christ told us to seek FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Now the question is how do you seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness? The Kingdom Of God:            Remember that Colossians 1:13 tells us that we have already been translated into the kingdom of God; know that the day you accept Christ you are automatically translated into the kingdom of God. The Righteousness Of God:           This is where a lot of teenagers miss it, they do not fully und...

THE TWO KINDS OF FAITH.

Image
The subject of faith is so important in Christianity and in our relationship with God that Hebrews 11:6 tells us that, without it (faith) none of us can please God. If there is any desire that should be in the heart of any believer in Christ, it is to please God. Colossians 1:10 (amp.) says, ''That you may walk (live and conduct yourselves) in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him and desiring to please Him in all things...'' If there is anything a Christian should desire above all other things, it should be pleasing God. But no Christian can live to please God unless he walks by faith. Therefore, the subject of faith for a b...
