IT'S NOT WORTH IT - THE WRONG RACE

Image
Greetings beloved, I welcome you to the month of November. I hope you are increasing in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? I will like to admonish you on what I titled ‘The Wrong Race.’     Hebrews 12:1-2 says, “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” The race of faith we are supposed to run is a race that we run with patience, looking unto Jesus. It is a race whose focus and end is the Lord Jesus Christ. This is the Christian race. Something else that we can extract from what Paul says is that not all that call themselves Christians are running the race, otherwise why the exhortation ...

LEADERSHIP & AUTHORITY

Image
Hello Hello my beloved saints, I wish you a great and prosperous month of November. I believe the Word of God is producing fruits in you as it does in the life of all who put their focus on it. One of the things that God dislikes is insubordination. He hates rebellion to authority because it destroys the work of God and creates an open door for Satan to reveal his own vision. Insubordination creates division and a split in the body of Christ. (Good) Leadership creates followership and followership creates open door of God’s blessing upon the followers. This is made possible as revealed in Psalm 133:1-3. But God has never called or used a perfect person. Everyone God has used in history has his or her own limitations. But as followers we are not to focus or dwell on the weakness of our leaders but rather on the grace of God upon their lives. Hence, Paul said in Romans 14:4, “Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? To his master he standeth or fallen. Yea he shall be holden...

IT'S NOT WORTH IT- THE LOVE OF MONEY

Image
Dearly beloved, I welcome you to this month of October, our month of favour. May the favour of God encompass you like a shield in every aspect of your life in the name of Jesus.  I will like to share with you on what I titled, the love of money – the root of all evil. 1st Timothy 6:9-11, “But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with man sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.” I will like to bring to your notice that this letter by Apostle Paul was written to Timothy, his son in the faith. Automatically, he was writing to the church, to believers. If he was writing to believers then, he is still writing to us now. A lot of people have often m...

EXPECTED END

Image
Welcome to the month of October, may the grace of God continue to abound in you in Jesus name. A lot of people are of the opinion that what will be will be. A lot of people say, if God is the beginning and the end and has already seen the end from the beginning, why then do we have to even put in effort to succeed since God already knows what or how we would end. Some also go to fortune tellers to know what will happen in the future. Others even say why did God even bother to create man, when He already knew that Adam would fall and the earth will be in chaos? All these questions are answered in one popular verse of the Bible, Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I have towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” In the above scripture God said, He thinks about everything and everyone that comes into this world, whether Christians or unbelievers and He said, the thoughts that He has towards everyone are thoughts of go...

OUR MONTH OF FAVOUR

Image
Dearly beloved, welcome to the month of October, our month of favour. The month of October is tagged by the Spirit of God as our month of favour. It is the month that God’s grace will be expressed in us through the supernatural working of the power of God. The Bible told us in Genesis 25:21-23, that Rebekah, Isaac’s wife was barren but the husband entreated the Lord for her and she conceived. But she discovered that there was a great tussle for dominance in her womb. She inquired of the Lord and discovered that she had twins in her. Genesis 25:23, “And the LORD said unto her, two nations are in the womb and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels and the one people shall be stronger than the other people and the elder shall serve the younger.”  But these two nations in Rebekah’s womb are allegory of the two testaments expressed by the Spirit of God through Paul in Romans 9;10-13, “And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even b...

LET GO OF WORRY

Image
Beloved, I welcome you to the beginning of the last quarter of the year. May you increase in the grace and wisdom of God.      I will be sharing with you on what I titled Let Go Of Worry. But first, we have to know what worry is. Worry can be defined as a state of mental and emotional agitation and distress resulting from undue concern over something impending or anticipated. Worry involves and uneasiness of mind or a brooding anxiety about a real or imagined situation or possibility. It is an unresolved feeling of fretful apprehension and mental unrest which is a close companion of fear, anxiety, insecurity and tension. Worry is not physical, although its effects can be felt in the physical body. In many cases, worry comes from evil spirits in the spirit realm in the form of thoughts against the mind. The goal of the evil spirit is to get one to allow the cares that they propagate to enter into the spirit man. This happens by entertaining their thoug...

The Voice of Nature

Image
Dearly beloved teens, I bring you greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Hope you have been living the victorious life in Christ Jesus.  Do you know that nature speaks? but before we delve into it let us first understand the word "nature." In layman's term, nature is everything we can see that man didn't create but has existed independent of man and Its unique characteristics. Some of the elements of nature includes; trees, animals, mountains, seas and oceans and even man himself etc.  Everyman in the world is look for the creator of the universe, the mighty and invisible hands behind nature, who we all refer to as the almighty God. Some few school of thoughts believe that there is nobody responsible for the creation of the universe (the Bible refers to them as fools in Psalm 14:1).  We have established that almost every man is seeking for relationship with the creator of the universe, which is the whole essence of religion. My question now...
