Hello my dearly beloved saints, I bring you greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I thank God that you are living in grace and victory of our Lord. I want to admonish you on what I titled ‘Hear and be healed.” I will like you to know and have this consciousness that there is nothing impossible with God. Can God do everything? The answer is yes, but He will not do everything because God will only do what you believe. God will not do everything because He works by rules and laws, He works based on your believing; which means He can only do those things which you believe. So in the book of Ephesians 3:20 He says, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” God doesn’t act or do things based on the power that works in Him. Everyone will agree with me that a gun is a more superior weapon compared to a knife, so if someone with a knife were to attack someone with a loaded gun you know how that story will end. Even so we as believers have the most superior power at work in us, which is the resurrection power which we have in Christ Jesus. Matthew 28:18 says, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” There's no other power as potent and effective in heaven and on earth as this power. This is the power we possess in Christ Jesus, using this power of God over any situation is like taking a gun to a knife fight, the enemy does not stand a chance. If we say this is the power we have in Christ Jesus, how come many Christians are not working in victory as they ought to? Why does it seems like unbelievers get more result than we do? Dearly beloved, I welcome you once again into another awesome month in the name of the Lord Jesus. May you increase in grace and in the knowledge of God this month of June in Jesus name. It is the sixth month, and I think it is prosper for us to think back to our previous months this year and ask ourselves a true question. ‘Have I been true to myself or have I been deceiving myself?’ This month I will be sharing on what I titled, “Don’t Deceive Yourself.” Brethren, one of the greatest thing a believer could do to his or her self is self deceit. You are stopping nobody but yourself from moving forward. You are are like that man wanting to lose some weight but eat four hot meal a day without exercises, yet desires change. It will never be possible, don’t deceive yourself. The words power and authority interchange but they are actually different and have different meanings. As believers, understanding these two concepts in the context of God's Word will help us go far in life. Luke 9:1 says, “Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.” Jesus gave to his disciples power & authority, that's because one cannot function correctly without the other one. For power to work effectively it needs authority and vice versa Authority Authority is the legal or rightful power; a right to command or to act; power exercised buy a person in virtue of his office or trust; dominion; jurisdiction; authorization; as, the authority of a prince over subjects, and of parents over children; the authority of a court. Hello beloved, you are welcome to the month of June. I thank the Lord for you. For the manifestation of His word and power in your life. May you abound more and more in His grace and revelation in the name of Jesus. Beloved, the word of God is the custodian of all wisdom, it teaches us what to do at every point in time. When you have a challenge or situation confronting you, what you do is to ask yourself a question, was there any one in the Bible with such a situation and how did he or she overcome? If there is, go to that part of the Bible, study it carefully and understand how the person was able to overcome. What was it the person did that gave the person the leverage and opportunity for success. This month I will be admonishing you on what I titled “MIND YOUR TONGUE.” The words that we speak, are they life or death? Do they give us hope or discouragement? Since we are held responsible for every word we speak. I think we had better listen carefully to what we are saying. The lives of many Christians are going in a particular direction which is unpleasant and not beneficial, yet they have refused to listen carefully to the direction in which their words go. The Bible says in Proverbs 18:21, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. So wat do we love; life or death?
