IT'S NOT WORTH: WHICH ROAD ARE YOU? part two

Image
Dearly beloved, May this month be an all-round blessing for you in Jesus name. This month I will be sharing with you on what I titled “which road are you?” Jesus seemed always to classify people in two categories. He taught that there are two roads of life, the broad road and the narrow road. He said there are two destinies in life. He did not give a third alternative. He did not give ant middle road. He said it’s either one or the other. He said in Matthew 7:13-14; “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” You cannot be neutral about eternal life, but a lot of people try to be. They try to ride the middle road but there is no middle road. Jesus said it’s one or the other. He said if you’re not on the narrow road that leads to eternal life, then you must be on the broad road t...

FOOD FOR TEENS: VALUE SYSTEMS

Image
Dear Teens, I would like to show you something you may have never really taken time to observe, yet it's the bedrock of prosperity. In the olden days, before the era of money, a person would go to his farm to harvest their produce then use it as a means of exchange for other food or services, which is usually referred to as the barter system. What they were doing in essence, was exchange of value, in exchange for the value of two tubers of yam, you might receive a bunch of plantain or cassava as the case maybe. The values of these produce were determined by the individuals involved. Whatsoever you exchange a product or service with became the value of that thing.  So, a carpenter could agree to receive a bag of rice in exchange for a furniture, it is the value he places on that furniture. When money was introduced, people began to forget that money was just the clothes value had to put on so that it could be traded globally. Money was never and would never be the main ai...

THE LORD NEEDS YOU part one

Image
Beloved, I welcome you to this wonderful month of April. May this glory of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ continue to shine upon you. The Bible says in the book of Luke 19:29-36 thus, “And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethaphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, that he sent two of His disciples, Saying, Go ye into the village over against you: in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither. And if any man ask you, why do you loose him? Thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him. And they that where sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them. And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, why loose ye the colt? And they said, The Lord hath need of him. And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon. And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.” A colt is a you...

FOOD FOR TEEN: THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH

Image
Dear teens, Have you ever wondered why "bad things" sometimes happen to good people? Why that strong brother or sister in Christ goes through some terrible situations and unbelievers or even wicked people even have it easier? First and foremost you must understand that it is the will of God that every believer must at some point face trials and tribulations, 2nd Timothy 3:12, "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. " But they are not built to destroy a Christian, they are built to strengthen us, 2 Timothy 3:11, "Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me ." When you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you must know that God IS WITH YOU, the reason why many people's heart fail them in tough times is because they think God has forsaken them (Psalm 23:4). Most time when we go through dark situation...

THE CONSTITUTION part two

Image
The Bible says in Galatians 3:13-14 thus, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree. That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might recieve the promise of the Spirit through faith.” You must come to appreciate what Christ has done for you. The reason Christians are having problems is because they have been told so many lies before they became born again, and now that they are Christians, they still believe those lies. And this is the reason so many Christians are moving from one church to another looking for who to deliver them from the curses. It is a lie of the devil, Christ has redeemed you from the curses; that should be your confession. The Bible is telling you that though you were once cursed and had the curses working in your life, now that you are a Christian, Christ has redeemed you from the curse of the law, that the blessing of Abra...

IT'S NOT WORTH IT: THE WAY THAT SEEMS RIGHT TO YOU

Image
Dear beloved, I welcome you earnestly to this glorious month of February. May you increase in the knowledge of God this month in Jesus name, Amen. This month I will be sharing with you on what I titled, “The way that seems right to you.” How do you define what is right and what is true? Is it based on what you determine to be right in your own eyes or is it based on what the word of God considers to be right? Who, what or where is your view of what is right coming from? Is it “I” according to you? Scriptures says in Psalms 100:3a, “ Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves...” If God is our maker, it would make sense that He alone knows what is right, therefore, right would be viewed from the eyes of God and not “I” In Proverbs 14:12, the Bible says, “There is a way which seemth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” There is danger in believing that what “I” see is right and what God says is wrong. All through the Bible,...

FOOD FOR TEENS: FOUR THINGS GOD REWARDS OPENLY

Image
Beloved teens, do you know that the secret of Christianity are things done in the secret? God is a Spirit and everyone who must worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth. The things that mostly impart a man's lives are not the things he does outwardly but the things done inwardly. It has been said that what a man does while no one is watching is the true nature of the man. So in this article we are going to be looking at the things God expects us to secretly 1. Give: Matthew 6:2-4, “Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.” Jesus said WHEN not if, so giving is a vital aspect of our lives but God said it must be done secret...
