Dear teens, What if I told you there is a river that contains all the solution to every challenge you will ever face in this life? Whatever you need can be found in this river. What if I also told you that this river is easily accessible to you if you’re born again? Psalm 46:4, “There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.” This river will make glad all believers, only if the the water is channeled directly into your life, that is why the Bible says the it is the streams (a liquid flowing continuously in a line or course) that will make glad, not the river per se. Dearly beloved, you are welcome to the month of march in the name of the Lord Jesus. I thank my God for you for His mercies and covering over you. This month, I will be sharing briefly on what I have titled, Don’t disregard the word of God.’ According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary the word ‘Disregard’ means to pay no attention to: treat as unworthy of regard or notice. So many of God’s children pay no attention to His word and others don’t even regard His word. But its bitter to tell you that disregarding God’s word is simply co-operating with the devil for your own limitation, deception and finally destruction. Beloved, I want you to come to this understanding that God is already God and whatsoever He has instructed in His word is not for His benefits but yours. Do you know that if you don’t give up, you will eventually win. Do you know that if you are following God and you refuse to give up, you will eventually succeed. This is the reason why you receive all the opposition to force you to give up because the devil knows that if you don’t relent, you will eventually make it. It is not the reputation of God to fail, Satan knows that so he discourages you and does everything by all means to have you discouraged so that you will not wait; so that you will give up and not have your desires met. James 1:5 says, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him.” You have to seek God, He does not find fault in any one who seeks him, God is not angry with anyone. Don’t qualify God as having the inability to help you by your actions because God is not angry with you. This month, I will be sharing with you on what I titled, ‘Don’t allow your situation mould your words.’ God never promised us a life without trials and temptations, but He told us what we should do to come out of them. So many Christians today have not only faced their goliath(situation) but they have also allowed their situations mould the words from their mouth. We must learn not just to read stories in the Bible but also learn lesson from them. Dear Teens, what is your perspective about life? Do you think life is meant to be hard or easy? Do you also think that you were created for the soft life? The truth is that life is not meant to be easy, I know you might not quite agree but hear me out; have you ever observed successful people all over the world irrespective of their race, tribe and religion that they always seem to have one thing in common; a strong work ethic, a certain level of discipline which translates to what we call hard work. Hello beloved brethren, I welcome you in the name of the Lord to the month of February. May the glory of God be revealed in you in this awesome month in Jesus name. I’d like to admonish you on the message I titled, ‘Don’t Give Up.” When we are expecting something from God, sometimes we make mistakes. We often think that what we are expecting will happen when it will happen. We seem to have this mindset that ‘one day my situation is going to change.’ If you have that kind of mindset that ‘God will change it’, you have to change it; it is not true. Whatever you want done in your life by God, you have to make Him do it. In the book of 1st Corinthians 12:10, the Bible talks about one of the gifts of the Spirit, ‘The working of miracles'. If you need a miracle, you have to work it out. Work is another word for labour, you have to labour to have miracle. This month I will be sharing with you on what I titled, ‘Don’t despise spiritual instructions.’ Many Christians today have lost many opportunities for breakthrough because the process bruised their ego. But God is always on the look out for the weak, poor, unclean, imperfect etc. For the one who will follow every word of spiritual instructions, to turn their stories around, to glorify himself. As believers, obedience is key. Try as much as possible to overlook the process. Instead let your focus be on the results. The process may be substandard but the results will be divine. 1st Samuel 15:22 says, “And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD?
