FOOD FOR TEENS :KINGS AND PRIESTS (ROYAL PRIESTHOOD)part 3

Image
Dear Teens, welcome to the month of August, I pray you experience total victory throughout this month in Jesus name. Our Priesthood office As continuation and conclusion on this series, let us look at our roles as priests under the new covenants and to do this, we must see the roles and job functions of Jewish priests under the old covenant. During the Old Testament era in Israel, priests had several important job functions. Here are some of the key responsibilities and roles they held: 1. Offering sacrifices: Priests were responsible for offering various types of sacrifices, including burnt offerings, grain offerings, peace offerings, sin offerings, and guilt offerings. They would perform these sacrifices on behalf of the people to atone for their sins and maintain their relationship with God. Under the New Testament, though Jesus through His death, burial and resurrection has paid the sacrifice for our sins once and for all, scripture tells us explicitly that we too have an...

THE SPIRIT, THE GLORY part two

Image
Hello beloved brethren I welcome you in the name of the Lord to the month of August. Have you not discovered that Jesus told his disciples in Luke 24:49 thus, “...but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. ” Why didn’t Jesus allow them to go and preach, instead He told them to wait for the Holy Ghost? If it were possible to live a successful Christian life without the Holy Ghost, Jesus would have told them to go. The challenge many Christians are having is that they don’t have the Holy Ghost. That is why you burn a little and you go off again. Nobody is called to live a Christian life without the Holy Spirit. You can’t be a successful Christian without the Holy Ghost this is where you are having problems. You are trying to live the supernatural life carnally. The five foolish virgins where depending on their ability without the Holy Ghost. In the book of Acts 8, the Bible says, Phillip went to Samaria to preach the gospel and s...

IT'S NOT WORTH IT : HYPOCRISY

Image
Hello brethren, you are welcome to the month of July. I give God thanks for you, for His power and His word working tremendously in you. May grace and peace be multiplied to you in Jesus name. I will like to bring to your awareness what I titled “HYPOCRISY” Hypocrisy refers to the act of claiming to believe something but acting in a different manner. The word is derived from the greek term for “actor,” Literally, one who wears a mask. In other words, someone who pretends to be what he is not. The Bible calls hypocrisy a sin, and every sin is not palatable, neither does it have a wonderful ending. There are two forms hypocrisy can take: that of professing to believe in something and then acting in a manner contrary to that belief, and that of looking down on others when we ourselves are flawed. If God showed and wants us to understand that he condemns hypocrisy in the Old Testament then He doesn’t want us to partake from it in the new. The prophet Isaiah condemned the hypocrisy of his d...

THE SPIRIT THE GLORY part one

Image
Hello my dearly beloved saints, I bring you greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I thank God that you are living in grace and victory of our Lord. I want to admonish you on what I titled ‘The Spirit, The Glory’. The Bible says in the book of Matthew 5:14 thus, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” You are the light of the world. You are the glory of the Lord and your glory cannot be hid in Jesus name. You are where you ought to be and you are well positioned in Jesus name. Isaiah 60:1-2 says, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise ...

FOOD FOR TEEN: KINGS AND PRIESTS (ROYAL & PRIESTHOOD) part 2

Image
Dear Teens, I’d like to welcome you into the month of July 2023 and I pray that the favor of the Lord will not elude you this month in Jesus name. Now, as continuation of our series from last month, I would like us to look at the dispensations of man in terms of his relationship with God; Adam was commanded by God to till the garden which was a form of service to God, then he also had a place of fellowship with God. which was also another act of service unto God. Then the dispensation of the Patriarchs, they served God from two different offices, they served God as Priests or prophets; meaning they had fellowship with God, they had altars where they offered sacrifices unto God, then they also had their royal (or circular)offices, which was their service to God through their service to men or their work. They always were ahead of their contemporaries, they were the head, they prospered in the works of their hands, they stood out from the rest. Look at Abraham for instance, the Philistin...

FOOD FOR TEEN: KINGS & PRIESTS (ROYAL PRIESTHOOD)

Image
Dear Teens, I would like to welcome you to another month of God’s faithfulness. I pray that you experience God like never before in your life in Jesus name. When Jesus redeemed us through His death, burial and resurrection, our spiritual status changed, we were elevated into new status called the Royal Priesthood. The Royal priesthood is a combination of two offices, Royalty which is kingship, and Priesthood. Revelation 1:5-6, “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” Levels have changed, as a believer you are a king and a priest, you must walk in this consciousness and be serious about it for you to succeed as a believer in this earth. It is a great privilege for you to be honored with such status, even as it was...

I'TS NOT WORTH IT : STOP RESISTING GOD IN YOUR LIFE

Image
Dearly beloved, I welcome you all to this awesome month of June. May all that the Lord has for you this month be made manifest in your life in Jesus name, Amen. This month, I will be admonishing you on what I titled, ‘Stop resisting God in your life.’ The Bible says in the book of Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” The New International Version of the same book of Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declared the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” It is important to note by this scripture that God has great things in store for you, not just for your present but also for your future. What a wonderful Father. You facing difficult situations today can take comfort in Jeremiah 29:11 knowing that it is not a promise to immediately rescue you from hardship or suffering, but rather a promise that God has a ...
